I got my first real job when I was 14, lifeguarding and teaching swimming lessons at the outdoor pool in my small hometown. That job taught me something really important: work can be fun when you're doing something you love. From that first summer I knew that I wanted to be doing something that I was passionate about. Over the years I developed a love for art, which I have translated into a career in graphic design.
I no longer eat a sno-cone on every break (although I do eat ice cream every night), but I do get to do fun, beautiful, and exciting work that I am incredibly passionate about: telling stories, playing a crucial role in developing brands, and most of all, making the client look really REALLY good.
Also, I live in Portland, Oregon with my husband and two perfect cats.
