When I tried my first Mole Verde, I knew that Luis and Sara were on to something wonderful that needed to be shared! Thankfully they decided to open a food cart and asked me to help them with their branding.
We started by workshopping the name and tagline. Although we came up with some really fantastic and clever ideas (I'd share some, but they're being saved for a future brick-and-mortar...), nothing conveyed what the Ochoas were doing with as accurately as "Mole".
Next, I created a logo and identity system for them. Moles have been around for several hundred centuries, and we wanted the look and feel to convey that rich history, while also letting customers know about the fresh, high quality ingredients being used to make them.
